Broncos battled hard this weekend against the top of the league Victoria Dock rangers, the scoreline didn't do the game justice. Some great football played by the boys created plenty of chances but unfortunately we couldn't convert. Its nice to see them gelling well as a team. Good to see the 2 new lads josh and nick making their first appearances this weekend, nick showing his defensive skills earning himself man of the match.Louise would have been proud of the way the lads played this weekend.Opposition manager had said that broncos had them worried they wasn't expecting broncos to be overpowering them just they was lucky to convert and lucky for them broncos didn't.Keep up the good work boys⚽️⚽️ ... ⚽️GREAT DRIFFIELD BLUES v TICKTON TIGERs⚽️The Boys retuned to Driffield this morning for the 2nd time in a matter of weeks. Credit to our hosts as a club, the pitches there are top notch. Our last game of phase 1 and the Boys saved the best till last with 2 cracking team performances. The boys did everything we asked:✅decision making ✅ hard work✅effort ✅passing & playing with our heads up✅ruthlessness in front of goal✅positivity & enjoyment in their play.We brought it all to the table and got our rewards and plenty to look forward too in phase 2 and also ahead as we start looking towards 7 a side next season.Goals - Chester ⚽️⚽️⚽️, Henry ⚽️⚽️⚽️, Jack, Toby, RomaCoaches Player of the week - IsaacSpectators Player of the week - Jack/Chester/Henry (a 3 way tie 🤣).#UTT 🐯⚽️Beerhouse Vehicle RentalCherry Windows & Doors LtdAwards FC“A tiger doesn’t wait for the storm to pass; it learns to roar in the rain and if you rile that tiger, it will show its claws.” ... ⚽️TICKTON TIGERS v HORNSEA SPORTING REDS⚽️A tough one this morning for the Boys. Coming up against a strong Hornsea team we controlled long periods of the first half of match 1 but couldn’t score. Sadly a crazy 5 minutes in the 2nd half where we made some bad decisions on the ball and some costly mistakes where punished & we where left licking our wounds. Credit to the boys though they kept going. In match 2 a similar story the work rate & effort where there we just couldn’t find that killer instinct in front of goal and unfortunately our efforts didn’t get the rewards they deserved. Sometimes though we learn more from experiences like this morning and we can only learn and get better. Onto next weekend and our final group game of phase 1.Goal - Jacob ⚽️Coaches and Parents Player of the Match - Henry #UTT ⚽️🤦‍♂️Beerhouse Vehicle RentalCherry Windows & Doors LtdAwards FC ... ⚽️KINGSWOOD UNITED HAWKS v TICKTON TIGERS⚽️Super Sunday for the Boys lived up to its billing as we took on a strong Kingswood United Hawks under the lights at Hull University. After an impeccably observed minutes silence we knew we where in for a game as our opponents flew out of the traps at us. This however seemed to galvanise the boys who where outstanding over both matches. The work rate was superb and set the tone for us to play our football which resulted in some fantastic goals. The last 2 weekends we’ve been involved in 2 fantastic fixtures and it’s been a joy to watch and even prouder to be involved with.
